Getting here

Speedboats leave Malé for Dhiffushi from the jetty in front of the Maldives Monetary Authority; the crossing takes about 40 minutes. The public ferry takes around three hours and runs on weekdays.

Local customs

Dhiffushi is a local island. Swimwear is welcome on the designated tourist beach and on the sandbank; elsewhere please cover shoulders and knees. Alcohol is not available on the island.
